Contact us today to ensure the date you desire is available. Our popular Colorado outdoor portrait sessions run all year and book quickly. I am accepting a limited number of sessions each month due to my wedding work schedule, so booking early is advised.

Appointments are available M – F primarily. Select weekend sessions may be available on a monthly basis.
Serving Denver and the Rocky Mountain Region. Travel to other states also available.

{ Lindsay’s Style }
I am not a traditional or “Sunday’s Best” photographer.

As a photographic artist I best describe my style as “everyday-artistic”. The simplicity of a deliciously imperfect childhood; with an artistic flair. As your custom photographer, I want to document who your child is rather than what they happen to be wearing.

Forced smiles and poses are not my style. I capture genuine moments, not shying away from artistic composition, playful interactions, or pictures of non-smiling children. It is my belief that there is art in childhood, and I embrace the badges of honor of childhood such as a lost tooth and messy hair.

Before booking your session please browse through my galleries to get a feel for my personal style and if I am the photographer for your family. If so, you’ll have a friend and family photographer to capture your family growth year after year.

Referrals are available for those seeking more traditional child or family portraits.

{INVESTMENT}

{PLEASE READ FIRST!}  Please allow me to share more about my pricing philosophy. Good (I mean REALLY good) photography is worth investing in. It’s going to cost you something…and it should. Also, I really truly dislike being a salesperson. Both as a customer and as a photographer. I’m not in this work of photography (the work that comes from my heart) in order to sell you lots of “stuff” – this is about the experience of being in front of my camera and the memories that we capture together. I want you to have all the artful images we capture together (after I do my artist’s culling and editing process of course). Most professional photographers will charge a low session fee or have a minimum order requirement, with a viewing session where you will spend $1000-2000+ on products afterward. And this is ok…it’s just not my style. I made this change in my business for YOU…I want to focus on you as people and friends – and this simplicity helps me to be more genuine and fully present with you. My sessions have a higher up-front investment (with everything included), so you will never be pressured to buy anything afterward – although you will have the option if you’d like.

Each of my fine art portrait sessions are captured outdoors using only natural light (except for some newborn sessions – these may be done in the privacy of your home).  I don’t rush the process needed to capture genuine, artistic expressions.  Each session lasts approximately 1-2 hours to fully capture your child/family in images you’ll cherish for a lifetime.

Document one of life’s most important journeys – your baby’s birthday! A Birth Story is a photojournalistic essay of the birth of your child at a birth center, hospital, or your home.

{The Rise and Shine Session}

One of my favorite methods of family photography is a photojournalistic approach that documents your family right when young children seem to be the happiest: in the mornings! The beauty of everyday family life, sleepy snuggles, and footie pajamas are often overlooked at family portrait time – yet these moments are often the ones parents miss the most when the kids grow up.

The Rise and Shine Session is a half day session where I arrive right when your children are waking up, in their jammies, and excited to start the day. The sweet everyday moments of childhood. (Like a “Day in the LIfe” session, if you’ve hear of those)

This collection includes:

• The 4-5 hour photography session
• Online photo gallery, to share with friends and family
• 8×8 fine art album of the photographer’s favorites to tell the story
• High resolution, print ready, digital negatives of the proofs from your session on a CD*
